Refund Policy
Simple and fair. If it's not working for you, here's how refunds work.

1. Our Commitment
We want DuePrompt to be worth every dollar you pay. If you've been charged and it's not right for you, we offer pro-rata refunds within a 7-day window — no awkward conversations, no hoops to jump through.
2. Subscription Billing
Paid plans (Starter at $15/month, Pro at $39/month, Business at $79/month) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Your billing date is the day you first subscribed to a paid plan, and it recurs on that date each month.
The Free plan has no charges — there's nothing to refund on a free account.
3. How Refunds Work
If you request a refund within 7 days of a billing date, we'll issue a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of that billing month.
Refunds go back to your original payment method. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Requests Outside the 7-Day Window
If more than 7 days have passed since your billing date, we're unable to refund the current billing period. However, you can always cancel to stop future charges — see Section 6.
If you believe there are exceptional circumstances, email us and we'll review it on a case-by-case basis. We're reasonable people.
5. What We Don't Refund
- The Free plan (no charges apply)
- Refund requests more than 7 days after a billing date
- Usage during the period before the refund request was made
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing.
When you cancel:
- Future billing stops immediately — you won't be charged again
- Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period
- After the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan (up to 3 active invoices)
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund — submit a refund request if you're within the 7-day window
7. How to Request a Refund
Email support@dueprompt.com with:
- The email address on your account
- The billing date you're requesting a refund for
We'll confirm eligibility and process the refund within 3–5 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email from Stripe once it's been issued.
